The Volvo VNR Electric is an upcoming battery-electrified truck in American Truck Simulator manufactured by the Swedish Truck Manufacturer Volvo Trucks.
It was firstly teased on the 2023 Christmas Special Stream, when the vehicle team revealed a 3D CAD modelling for the hood of the truck.
18 December 2023: In the SCS Christmas Stream, the vehicle team reveals a 3D CAD modelling for the hood of the Volvo VNR Electric, which could be ATS' first-ever Battery-Electrified Long-Haul Truck in the future.[1]
19 December 2024: SCS made a Christmas special livestream, where they reveal some plans for 2025, one of which is the picture set of the Volvo VNR Electric. This confirms that the Volvo VNR Electric might be released in the future updates of the game, as part of the Quickjobs.
