The 2018 Volvo VNL (also known as The new Volvo VNL) is a truck in American Truck Simulator manufactured by the Swedish truck manufacturer Volvo. It was added to the game on May 25, 2023 during the 1.47 update.

- 19 August 2022: SCS Software confirms that they are working on the 2018 Volvo VNL model after visiting the Volvo Trucks North America facility in the state of Virginia and that the project is still in the very early stages of development.[1]
- 20 December 2022: In the SCS Christmas Stream, the team reveals 3D images of the modeling process of the 2018 Volvo VNL.[2]
- 24 May 2023: SCS Software announced on their social medias that on 25 May 2023, will have a Stream about the 2018 Volvo VNL together with special guest.[3]
