The Volvo FH is a truck in Euro Truck Simulator 2 manufactured by the Swedish truck manufacturer Volvo.

Formerly named Volvo FH16 2012, it was added to the game on October 24th, 2013 alongside the 1.7 update, and it will be fully reworked from scratch in future updates.

Release History

• 19 August 2013: A blog post about the little update news for the 2012 Volvo FH, showing the WIP interior model, and SCS says that it will be the star of an update in autumn.
• 21 October 2013: A blog post about the final stages of tuning, testing, and approval from the brand owner for the 2012 Volvo FH. It also confirms that it is coming very soon.
• 24 October 2013: With update 1.7, the 2012 Volvo FH is released.

Since the release of the truck, new contents have been added into it for free in the game updates.

• 27 November 2013: Update 1.7.2.1 adds more tuning parts, as well as new exclusive FH16 interior. A blog post on the 27th November 2013 announced this addition.
• 2 June 2020: With update 1.37 and the release of the FH Tuning Pack, the new FH had been slightly reworked by adding more tuning parts and the newly-reworked engine badge. A blog post on the 2nd June 2020 announced this addition.

Work in Progress:

• 20 December 2022: In a Christmas Livestream, SCS' Vehicle team reveals the new 3D CAD modeling of the 2020 Volvo FH exterior.
• 18 December 2023: In a Christmas Livestream, SCS' Vehicle team reveals the images of the new interiors of the 2020 Volvo FH, as well as the fully reworked interiors of its 2012 model.
