Volvo Group (Latin for "I roll") is a Swedish multinational manufacturing company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, both Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks (also part of Volvo Group) are featured. In American Truck Simulator, both Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks (also part of Volvo Group) are featured. With the Scandinavia DLC, both the Volvo trucks factory and another company VPC (selling Volvo cars) are available to offer various freight jobs that are west of the city of Göteborg.
Volvo was formerly known as Valiant in Euro Truck Simulator, because SCS Software didn't have the license for official usage at the time.
Volvo is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2 with four models (FH3, FH4, FH5 and FH6) and in American Truck Simulator, with three models (Only VNL 2014 and VNL 2018 models are ownable, the VNR Electric will only available for the quick-jobs). It is, for the time being, the only truck manufacturer with trucks featured in both ETS2 and ATS.
On June 2, 2020, the FH Tuning Pack DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been released. It adds many new customizations for all the Volvo FH models.
With update 1.50, alongside Renault Trucks, its in-game logo was revised.

General[]
Volvo returns in ETS2, but still using the Valiant name until update 1.7, which marked the first official appearance of Volvo in any SCS games. This time, the manufacturer offers four models: the FH3, FH4, FH5 and FH6, all of which can be fully customised. The FH4 was added to the game in update 1.7, while the FH5 and FH6 were added together to the game in update 1.53.

Scandinavia expansion introduces the city of Gothenburg, which is the headquarters of Volvo Trucks. As such, Volvo Trucks' plant is partially modeled, and one can take and deliver cargo there, including delivering Volvo trucks to the brand's dealers.
FH Tuning Pack[]
On the 2nd June, 2020, the FH Tuning Pack DLC was been released for ETS2, adding more customisable parts for the FH3 and FH4. On the 17th December, 2024, more customisable parts for the FH5 was added to the game along with the truck's release in update 1.53 and more customisable parts for the FH6 was added with update 1.55.
American Truck Simulator[]
Update 1.32 for ATS marks the second official appearance of Volvo in SCS games, after ETS2. In ATS, the manufacturer offers two models: the 2014 VNL and the 2018 VNL, all of which can be fully customised. the 2014 VNL was added to the game in update 1.32, while the 2018 VNL was added to the game in update 1.47. On the 2024 Christmas Livestream, SCS confirmed that the 2024 VNL is in progress to be released in ATS.

- Volvo Truck Factory manufactures Volvo trucks for distribution.
- Volvo Dealerships import Volvo trucks from the factory and sell them to customers.
