U.S. Route 62 (US 62) is an east–west US highway running from El Paso, TX to Niagara Falls, NY. In American Truck Simulator, the road begins at I-10 in El Paso, heading northeast through the Guadalupe Mountains, and enters New Mexico south of Carlsbad. In New Mexico, U.S. 62 is entirely concurrent with U.S. 180, passing through the cities of Carlsbad and Hobbs before crossing back into Texas.
The road continues east until reaching the town of Seminole, where it turns northeast towards Lubbock. East of Lubbock, U.S. 62 cuts off in-game, and picks back up along U.S. 83 south of Shamrock. Here, the road continues into Oklahoma, passing through Altus before reaching Lawton. The highway reaches it's current end in-game here
