Truckee is a small town in eastern California near the Nevada border. It is featured in American Truck Simulator.
Truckee was completely reworked in update 1.44 as part of the second phase of the California rework.

Truckee is separated into two parts by Interstate 80:
The southern part near central Truckee features a Bitumen depot, a Deepgrove depot, and a Plaster & Sons building construction site.
The northern part features a Bitumen garage, a Home Store market, a big Wallbert market, and a service shop.
Interstate 80 itself features a Border Protection Station and a weigh station westbound on the northeast side of Truckee.
In addition, there is a Bitumen roadworks site by Donner Lake southwest of Truckee.

runs to Sacramento to the southwest and Reno, Nevada to the northeast. - Donner Pass Road runs past Donner Lake to I-80 west of Truckee.
History[]
- In the initial version of American Truck Simulator, Truckee was located south of Interstate 80 and featured a Bitumen depot, a small Wallbert food market, a Gallon Oil gas station, and a service shop in the city proper, as well as a Bitumen construction area and a Towne & Country Motel along Donner Pass Road, which looped around Donner Lake and did not connect to Interstate 80.
- In update 1.44, as part of the second phase of the California rework, Truckee was completely reworked. All roads and junctions were rebuilt, and SR 89 was added and Donner Pass Road extended to Interstate 80 west of Truckee. The small Wallbert food market, the gas station, and the Towne & Country Motel were removed. The city was separated into two parts by Interstate 80. A southern part near central Truckee featuring a Bitumen depot, a Deepgrove depot, and a Plaster & Sons building construction site was added. A northern part featuring a Home Store market, a big Wallbert market, and to which the Bitumen garage and the service shop were moved was added.
