Trieste is a city in Italy, which is located close to the Slovenian border. Until update 1.48, it can only be seen on a highway road sign on the interchange of A23, A24 and A4, which is in the north of Venezia. The city itself was added in the update 1.48.5, in preparation for the West Balkans DLC.

It is the ninth city to be added outside of the release of the base game or a map expansion, which was been after Werlte addition in update 1.45, and Winsen addition in update 1.48 (Both of which are in Germany).
