Texarkana (nicknamed as TK) is a city in Texas, on the Texas-Arkansas state border.
The city was added as an addition for the Texas map expansion DLC for American Truck Simulator in update 1.48 due to its discovery of the incomplete section of Interstate 30 (along with other roads in northeastern Texas) and the incomplete Texarkana Loop, consisting of the portions of US 59, Interstate 369, Loop 151 in Texas, Arkansas Highway 151, and Interstate 49 outside the barriers of the game.[1]
The city has also been mentioned as part of a new "northern area" in the Texas DLC release stream by Map DLC Lead Saimon, which he had also mentioned some other areas in Texas that would not fit the release of the DLC.[2]
Another part of the city is featured in the Arkansas DLC.
