Tampere is a city in southern Finland, featured in the Beyond the Baltic Sea map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2.[1]
It currently shares with Pori as the northernmost city in the game, surpassing Bergen introduced in the Scandinavia DLC.
Some signs in Sweden display their translation of Tampere: Tammerfors.[In-game screen needed]
Landmarks[]
The only known landmark in Tampere is the Nokianvirta, located on Nokia.
Features[]
Casually as Pori, Tampere's city center is inaccessible. Only the area around the city center is accessible for truckers:
- The northwestern part (Myllypuro), features a garage, a gas station and a Renar Logistik depot.
- To the south (Nokia), features a Finnish Tyres depot and a Viljo Paperitehdas Oy factory. To the south of Nokia, there is a Radus concrete plant.
- At the center (Lahdesjärvi), features only the IKA Bohag store. North of Lahdesjärvi, in Pirkkala, there is another gas station and a rest stop.
- To the east (Linnainmaa), features an Suprema supermarket.
