The landmarks rendered in Szczecin are: the Archcathedral Basilica of St. James, the Ducal Castle, the Polish Steamship Company and the West Oder river.
Despite being a Polish city, the only major road connection to Szczecin in ETS 2 is a German road – the connects the city to Berlin, the German capital. There's a junction on this highway, where a minor road branches northwest towards Rostock.
- The northbound road heads for Gdańsk.
- The southbound road runs near Wrocław and crosses the Polish-Czech border, all the way to a point near Brno, Czech Republic.
- Szczecin, like many cities in western Poland, was part of Germany until the end of World War II. As such, German signs in ETS 2 use Stettin, the German (and Swedish) name of the city, to guide drivers.
