Socorro is a city featured in the New Mexico map expansion DLC for American Truck Simulator. It's located in the center of the state just south of Albuquerque.

Landmarks Edit

The landmarks which can be found in Socorro are the First Baptist Church (in-game: Last Baptist Church), the K. of P. Hall (in-game: K. of P. Ball), the Loma Stadium Cinema (in-game: Lowa Stadium Cinema), the San Miguel Church, the Socorro Canyon and a recycling center with an UFO sign.

Features Edit

Four companies have depots in the city: There are a Gallon Oil gas station, a Plaster & Sons depot, a Rail Export depot, a Tidbit supermarket and a Wallbert super store. A Coastline Mining quarry is just outside the western city end.

Socorro also features one further gas station, a motel and a service shop.

Connections Edit

Socorro is located at the intersection of the IS25 and the US60. The north-south running I-25 connects the city with Albuquerque and Santa Fe to the north and Las Cruces to the south. US 60 crosses the border to Arizona and passes through Show Low until it finally ends in Phoenix.
