The Scania S Electric (in-game name: Scania S BEV) is a battery-electrified truck in Euro Truck Simulator 2 manufactured by the Swedish truck manufacturer Scania.
It was firstly teased on the 2023 Christmas Special Stream, when the vehicle team revealed the brief images of the truck. It was added to the game on the 2nd July, 2024, along with the 1.50 update. Currently, it is only available as a predefined truck for Quick Jobs (Same case with the Renault Trucks E-Tech T).
Release History[]
- 18 December 2023: In the SCS Christmas Stream, the vehicle team reveals a 3D CAD modelling for the Scania Electric Truck (in the R-series guise), which could be ETS2's next Battery-Electrified Long-Haul Truck in the future, after the Renault E-Tech T.[1]
- 20 June 2024: SCS Software teases a Scania Electric Truck (in the S-series guise) on their social media accounts.[2]
- 2 July 2024: The Scania S Electric is released along with a trailer video.[3]
