Santa Maria is a city in southwestern California. It is featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator. Like many cities in California, it is located along the Pacific coast.
Santa Maria was added in the rescale update of ATS, so it is not required to visit it in order to unlock the achievement "California Dreamin'". It was the second city to be added outside of the release of the base game or a map expansion after Ukiah was added in update 1.3.
Landmarks[]
The only known landmark in Santa Maria is the Santa Maria River.
Features[]
The city includes a Bitumen and a Sell Goods depot, as well as a Voltison Motors and a Wallbert store. Facilities there are a GP gas station and a service shop. In addition, one can find a Sunshine Crops farm just outside the city.
Further north, a Coastline Mining depot located along SR 58 is associated with Santa Maria. During the Operation Big Sur event, a Mud Creek Slide depot located along SR 1 was also associated with Santa Maria, although it was geographically closer to Santa Cruz.

Santa Maria is located on the and , which connect the city with Oxnard and Los Angeles to the southeast and Santa Cruz and San Francisco to the north.
The runs from US 101 north of Santa Maria to Bakersfield to the east.
