San Francisco is a city in the Bay Area of California. It is one of the largest cities in American Truck Simulator. The city was revamped in update 1.50.

The city includes many attractions that are visible in real life, including Alcatraz Island, the Central Embarcadero Piers Historic District, the Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, the Golden Gate Bridge (which can be driven on), the Palace of Fine Arts, Pier 39 and the San Francisco Bay Bridge (also drivable).

Connections[]
The city itself is arranged in a circular road system. Three roads connect San Francisco with other cities:
- Interstate 80 runs to Oakland and Sacramento to the east.
- US 101 runs to San Jose and Los Angeles to the south, parallel to Interstate 5, and San Rafael, Ukiah, and Eureka to the north.
- SR 1 runs to Santa Cruz to the south, parallel to US 101.

- In update 1.29, an at-grade three-way junction of US 101 and the Embarcadero was added.
- In update 1.32, a Volvo truck dealer was added, alongside the release of the Volvo VNL Classic.
- In update 1.50, the city has been majorly revamped.
