Road Trip is an upcoming game module which will be featured in American Truck Simulator.

The module was firstly announced via a blog post on the 11th April, 2025, and the release date is yet to be disclosed, at least for now.

Release History[]

  • 11 April 2025: A blog post to announce the Road Trip project, alongside a Dev Talk video, which had been uploaded on SCS' YouTube channel.[1]
  • 26 April 2025: A blog post calling the communities to gather some unmodified cars from well-known car manufacturers to have its sounds recorded.[2]
  • 24 July 2025: A blog post to announce the module's first-ever car pack DLC, including some iconic models from Ford, officially licensed by Ford Motor Company.[3]
  • 20 August 2025:A blog post to announce the module's second car pack DLC, including some iconic models from RAM and Dodge, officially licensed by Stellantis.[4]
  • 24 September 2025: A blog post about an SCS On The Road, where the team took a trip to the World Headquarters of the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan.[5]
  • 13 October 2025: A blog post about an SCS On The Road, where the team did a recording of the sounds from a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat for the upcoming module.[6]
  • 18 November 2025: Update 1.57 for ATS is released, with some minor improvements on the in-game gas stations, in preparation for this module.[7]
  • 29 November 2025: A blog post about the 1992-2012 Ford Crown Victoria.[8]
  • 13 January 2026: A blog post about the 2023 Ford F-150 Lariat.[9]
