The two larger accessible parts of Rennes in ETS 2 are the Sud-Est industrial area and the in real life independent city Pacé. The landmarks of Rennes can be found along it's ring road. Some of them are the downtown of Rennes and the building at Porte de Saint-Nazaire.
The city is divided in two larger parts.
The Voitureux depot and an MVM Carrière quarry are located to the south of the main city, along the minor roads towards Nantes. The MVM depot actually belongs to Le Mans although it is closer to Rennes.
Three numbered roads connect Nantes to other cities while two minor road start from it:
- The connects Rennes with Le Mans. (via )
- The starts to the northeast of Rennes and runs towards Le Havre and Paris. (via )
- The starts to the northwest of Rennes and runs towards Brest and Roscoff.
A four-lane minor road runs down south towards Nantes, while another four-lane minor road connects Rennes with the A11.
