The Peterbilt Model 579 Next Gen (also known as Peterbilt Model 579 2022) is an upcoming truck in American Truck Simulator manufactured by the American truck manufacturer, Peterbilt.
Release History[]
- 29 December 2022: SCS Software confirms that they are working on the new Peterbilt 579 model after visiting the PACCAR Technical Center in the state of Washington and that the project is still in the very early stages of development.[1]
- 21 December 2023: In the 2023 Christmas Livestream, the vehicle team reveals the 3D CAD interior modelling of the 579 Ultraloft.[2]
