Peterbilt 389

The Peterbilt Model 389 is a truck in American Truck Simulator manufactured by the American truck manufacturer Peterbilt.

It was added to the game on November 3, 2016, along with the 1.4 update.

Trivia[]

17 years after the start of its production in 2006, the real-life production of the Model 389 had been ceased in 2023, as it is replaced by the newer Model 589. As the result, the Model 389 is another out-of-production truck models in the game, after the 9900i Eagle, VNL 2014, and the 5700XE.
The Exclusive grill's headlights resemble that of the Peterbilt 359.
