Peterbilt is a truck manufacturer in American Truck Simulator. Peterbilt is one of two truck companies, the other being Kenworth. It is also included in 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul under the name Pacific, because SCS Software didn't have the license for Peterbilt trucks.
The headquarters of Peterbilt are located in Denton, Texas. Compared to other trucks, Peterbilt trucks are quite cheap, making it a good option for beginners buying their first truck.
Models
Peterbilt manufactures a variety of trucks in real life, but in American Truck Simulator there are only the Peterbilt 579 and the Peterbilt 389, while in 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul there are seven models, all which are unbranded.
