Olsztyn is a city in northeastern Poland, introduced to Euro Truck Simulator 2 through the Going East DLC.
Landmarks
The landmarks rendered in Olsztyn are: the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the City Hall and the Concatedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle.
Features
Four companies have depots in Olsztyn, including EuroGoodies, FCP, SellPlan and Tradeaux. Additionally, there's a TREE-ET mill just to the south of the city.
A garage, a hotel and a service shop provide basic service to truckers visiting Olsztyn. Two gas stations can also be found a short distance out of the city.
Connections
Two minor roads cross near Olsztyn.
- The runs between Warszawa and Gdańsk, and has a TOTSO south of Olsztyn. Where the road has a junction between it and DK16, in real life truckers would drive into the town of Ostróda.
- Another minor road (roughly follows Droga krajowa nr 16 in real-life) runs across Olsztyn in an east-west alignment. To the west truckers would eventually reach Poznań, while to the east the road meets a north-south road from Białystok head-on.
