Oakdale was a small town in California, introduced in American Truck Simulator. It was located near Stockton. The town is replaced by the city of Modesto in update 1.50 as part of the third phase of the California rework. It is the third city to be removed from the game's economy since its initial release, after Hornbrook was replaced by Hilt in update 1.41 and San Rafael was replaced by San Jose in update 1.50.

Truckers can only find a company, which is a Bushnell Farms farm in Oakdale.
There is also a Gallon Oil gas station with a rest stop.

Oakdale is located on the , which connects the city with the and Oakland to the west and Yosemite National Park and the between Bishop and Carson City, Nevada to the east.
The runs on the west side of the city to Fresno, Bakersfield, and Los Angeles to the south and Stockton and Sacramento to the north.
