Note: This page contains only information about Lyon in Euro Truck Simulator 2!

Lyon is a city in south-eastern France. It is the only French city alongside Paris to be featured in both Euro Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. (Bordeaux was later re-introduced to ETS 2 via the Vive la France DLC)

Lyon has been reskinned and rebuilt in the 1.43 update.[1]

Landmarks[]

The known landmarks in Lyon are the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, the Lyon Cathedral, the Centre d'échanges de Perrache, the Tour Part-Dieu and the Tunnel of Fourvière. Along the N346 near Mi-Plaine, east of Lyon, is the Groupama Stadium.

The A6 crosses the two rivers Rhône and Saône in Lyon.

Features[]

Before 1.43 update[]

Kaarfor, Tradeaux, Trameri and Sanbuilders have depots in Lyon, while a Stein Bruch quarry is to the northeast of the city, connected to the minor road towards Genève.

A garage, a hotel, a recruitment agency, a service shop and a small Renault truck dealer are present in Lyon.

After 1.43 update[]

Lyon is separated in three districts, connected between the A6, A7, A46 and N346.

In Dardilly, there is a Kaarfor supermarket, along with a recruitment Agency and a large Renault truck dealer with Service shop and rest stop.

Heading east from Dardilly, in Limonest, there is a Bâtisse construction.

In addition, a small gas station with rest stop is located on the A6 between the districts.

Going further east, Mi-Plaine features Tradeaux and Trameri warehouses. Also there are a garage, another gas station, and a hotel.

East of Mi-Plaine, there is an Stein Bruch quarry.

Connections[]

The A6 still exists, while the A43 serves as the city's south-eastern access. Truckers may go to Dijon and Paris via the A6, and to Torino via the A43. The A41 goes east of the A43 and connects Switzerland.

A minor road runs north from the A43 near Lyon, providing an alternative route to Genève, Switzerland.

With the Vive la France! DLC, the A7 is added to the south of Lyon, extending to the junction next to the service shop.
