In addition, a Chuck & Jack's sawmill is located on US 96 east of Lufkin.

Facilities in the city are a garage, a gas station, a service shop and a truck stop. There is also a rest area just south of Lufkin on US 59.

• The US59 runs south to Livingston and Houston and north towards Tenaha and Longview (the latter city via the IS20).
• The US69 runs southeast to Woodville and Beaumont and northwest to Tyler.
• The TX94 runs west from Loop 287 on the west side of Lufkin towards Centerville (via the TX7) and Waco (via the TX7 and US77).
• The TXLOOP287 forms a ring road connecting all parts of Lufkin.
