Kostroma Oblast (Russian: Костромская Oбласть, Kostromskaya Oblast) is a Russian oblast, which is situated in central European Russia. It will be accessible in the upcoming Heart of Russia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
The region is bordered by Vologda Oblast to the north, Kirov Oblast to the east, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and Ivanovo Oblast to the south, and Yaroslavl Oblast to the west.
The capital of the Oblast is Kostroma.
