Kiel is a city located in northern Germany, featured in German Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is the northernmost featured city in Germany (as well as the European continent before the release of Euro Truck Simulator 2: Scandinavia)
Kiel has been reworked in the 1.32 update.[1]

The north-south , part of the
, passes Kiel to the west, but more direct connections to the city are provided by the
and
. The city's main entrance directly connects the latter.
Before the release of Euro Truck Simulator 2: Scandinavia, Kiel is the northernmost featured city on the European continent, and the does not go further north. With the Scandinavia expansion enabled, the
north of Germany is introduced, and truckers can travel into Denmark from Kiel.
Meanwhile, the first city south of Kiel is Hamburg, and Hannover can be reached further down the A7.
A minor road goes southeast from Kiel towards Rostock and Magdeburg.
