Interstate 44 (I-44) is an east-west Interstate Highway in the US states of Texas and Oklahoma in American Truck Simulator. It begins at US 82 and US 277 in Wichita Falls, Texas and ends at US 69 northeast of Claremore, Oklahoma.

At the Oklahoma DLC's launch, I-44 ended at US 412 and SH-364 in Catoosa.

In real-life, Interstate 44 goes from Wichita Falls, Texas to St. Louis, Missouri. It runs through the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Course

Interstate 44 begins concurrent with US 287 and US 277 in Wichita Falls, TX. It then goes north and drops off US 287. I-44 exits the city, and a little after enters Oklahoma and becomes the H.E. Bailey Turnpike. The concurrency with US 277 disappears around here. The H.E. Bailey Turnpike terminates just before I-44 enters Lawton. After exiting Lawton, I-44 heads northeast and the H.E. Bailey Turnpike picks up again. The H.E. Bailey Turnpike terminates just southwest of where I-44 enters Oklahoma City. In the city, I-44 intersects with I-40, and I-35. At the I-35 intersection, I-44 becomes the Turner Turnpike. It goes northeast to Tulsa where the Turner Turnpike terminates. I-44 intersects I-244 at its western terminus and US 75 in the city. US 412 becomes concurrent with I-44 at an intersection with I-244 at its eastern terminus. In Catoosa, I-44 becomes a toll road again at a junction with SH-364 and heads northeast, while US 412 heads east to Chouteau. I-44 becomes inaccessible at US 59, US 60 and US 69 northwest of Claremore.

From Oklahoma City to Tulsa, I-44 follows Historic US 66 and SH-66.

Before Update 1.51, I-44 in Oklahoma City was inaccessible in-between I-40 and I-35.
