Interstate 35E (I-35E) is a north–south Interstate Highway that serves as the eastern half of Interstate 35, where it splits to serve the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area in northeastern Texas in American Truck Simulator. I-35 splits into two branch routes, I-35W and I-35E, at Hillsboro. It runs through Dallas before rejoining with I-35W to reform I-35 in Denton.
I-35E's exit numbers increase numerically from its southern terminus, continuing the numbers used on I-35. Its other branch, I-35W, maintains its own exit numbers.

Interstate 35E, along with Interstate 35W, splits Interstate 35 into two different branches at Hillsboro. It traces to the northeast and enters the urban agglomeration of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. After passing by Lancaster and DeSoto, I-35E intersects Interstate 20 in the southern limits of Dallas and continues to trace to the north until reaching the city's downtown area, where it meets Interstate 30 at the Horseshoe Interchange. Between I-20 and I-30, the highway follows an unsigned concurrency with US 67; meanwhile, US 77 also runs a concurrency with I-35E from the Lancaster–DeSoto line. The highway continues to trace to the north, running west of downtown Dallas until reaching its northern terminus with the northern split of I-35, where the highway and I-35W rejoin in Denton.
