Interstate 27 (I-27) is a north–south Interstate Highway situated in the panhandle of northern Texas in American Truck Simulator. It runs from US 87 in Lubbock to Interstate 40, US 60, US 87 and US 287 in Amarillo, concurrent with US 87 for its entire route.

Course[]

Interstate 27 begins at a point along the four-lane US 87 freeway, overlapped by the same road and approaches exit 1 at an interchange with 50th Street in Lubbock. The highway traces north, passes downtown to the east and intersects the highways of US 62 and 82 before leaving the Lubbock city limits; soon afterwards, I-27 continues to trace to the north through the Great Plains in the panhandle of northern Texas. At the highway's approximate midpoint between its both ends, it enters Plainview, where it intersects US 70. I-27, yet, continues to have a northerly-traced run and reaches its junction with US 60 in Canyon. From there, the highway is now overlapped by both US 60 and US 87, and enters Amarillo. I-27 intersects Loop 335 and I-40, along with US 287, overlapping I-40, through the southern limits of Amarillo. At the northernmost point of the I-27/I-40 interchange, I-27 ends just south of downtown Amarillo, where the freeway continues to run north into downtown carrying US 60, US 87 and US 287.
