International LT

The International LT (formerly the International ProStar) is a truck in American Truck Simulator manufactured by the American truck manufacturer International Trucks.

It was first teased in the Wyoming trailer on the 26th August, 2021 at the end of the trailer. It was added to the game on the 1st September, 2021, along with the 1.41 update.

The exterior and interior of the LT has been reworked in the 1.50 update, including new models, updated textures, new accessories and new S13 Integrated Powertrains.

Release History[]

26 August 2021: In the Wyoming trailer, an International LT can be seen towards the end of the trailer.^{^[2]}
1 September 2021: International LT is released along with a trailer video.^{^[1]}

Since the release of the truck, new contents have been added into it for free in the game updates.

14 May 2024: Update 1.50 gets the LT an exterior and interior rework with new models and updated textures, as well as new interior options, new S13 Integrated Powertrains, new shorter chassis for the Day Cab, new paint job combo and sets of new accessories, such as cabinet, sidepanel, etc. A blog post in the exact date announced these additions.^{^[3]}

Trivia[]

In real-life it was formerly the International ProStar Long Hood. Replacing the 9400i in 2006, it was produced by using the NGV cab (shared with the LoneStar), the ProStar gets a revision in 2010 as the ProStar+ and in 2015 as the ProStar ES (Efficiency Specification). The ProStar used the Cummins ISX15, MaxxForce N11 and MaxxForce N13 engines.
In 2017, the ProStar Long Hood underwent a facelift and was renamed to the LT Series. It gets a new grille, redesigned bumper, and new headlight. The truck's Cummins ISX15 engines have been replaced by the Cummins X15 engines, while the MaxxForce N13 engines were replaced with the International A26 engines (based on the MAN D26 engines). In 2022, the LT gets the newly-developed International S13 Integrated powertrains (based on the Scania DC13 Super engines and the Scania OptiCruise transmissions), alongside the cosmetic improvement.
