The International 9900i Eagle is a truck in American Truck Simulator manufactured by the American truck manufacturer International Trucks. It was added to the game on March 22, 2022 during the 1.43 update, but as of update 1.49, this truck is no longer available in the International truck dealers, but instead, it's now only available in the Used Trucks market.
Release History[]
- 16 December 2021: In the SCS Christmas Stream, the team reveals an image about a mysterious future truck for ATS, with similarities to International 9900i. Pavel said that the truck is at an advanced stage of development and the people won’t have to wait much time for its release and it's something for 2022 for sure.[2]
- 20 March 2022: SCS Software teases the International 9900i in a image on social media accounts.[3]
- 21 March 2022: SCS Software announced on their social medias that on 22 March 2022, will have a Stream for reveal the new truck.[4]

2018 9900i facelift as the HX
- Along with the Volvo VNL 2014, and the Western Star 5700XE, the 9900i Eagle is one of the few out-of-production trucks that was added to the game.
- Between 2016 and 2020, the 9900i underwent a facelift and was renamed to the HX Series.
- In terms of interiors, the 9900i is arguably the most rudimentary truck available in ATS, since in both interior guises, it comes without a sat-nav/GPS, is full of analogue gauges compared to digital instrument clusters, and has a very basic trip computer with only three settings.
