Genova (English: Genoa) is a city in northern Italy, featured in the Italia map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is the capital city of the region of Liguria.[1]
Features[]
The city has one entrance (resembling Via Enrico Melen).
As Genova is a port city, most depots there are port related, including an ACI SRL depot near the airport, a Marina and a Terminal Container depot. There's also a CDE SRL site and a Trasporti Mediterraneo depot.
Facilities available in Genova include a garage, a gas station, a hotel and a service shop.
Connections[]
The only entrance of Genova connects to the .
With only the Italia DLC, Genova can only be accessed from the east. After crossing the Viadotto Polcevera (called the Ponte Morandi), the goes north towards Milano while the goes southeast towards Livorno and Roma.
If the trucker also has the Vive la France DLC enabled, then Genova can also be accessed from the west. The goes northwest towards Torino; while the itself ends at the border between France and Italy – the nearest French city is Nice.
Operation Genoa Bridge[]
In 14 August 2018, the real-life bridge connecting east and west Genova collapsed. The bridge (colloquially known as Ponte Morandi) itself was included in the Italia DLC at its release in December 2017, only eight months earlier.
The Ponte Morandi stayed in the game until 4 June 2020, when an event called Operation Genoa Bridge started (parallel to the real-life reconstruction). The bridge was removed, and construction sites on each end appeared. The new bridge was added to the game at the end of the event.

Trivia[]
- Genova is "accessible" with neither Italia or Vive le France DLCs. Teleport with cheat to Torino, exit through the southern road and in the interchange go straight bypassing the dual XXXXXX barriers. Once you get off-limits look at the motorway signs when present and go where it says GENOVA, until you see a large white sign with the city name.
- Twin-cities of Genova, which are also in SCS Software games:
