The Mercedes-Benz New Actros is a truck in Euro Truck Simulator 2 manufactured by the German truck manufacturer Mercedes-Benz.
It was added to the game on May 26th, 2015 alongside the 1.18 update,[1] and it will be fully reworked from scratch in future updates.
Release History[]
- 9 April 2014: A blog post of the approval update for the 2012 Actros to be built for ETS2.
- 25 August 2014: A Work in Progress update blog post for the 2012 Actros.
- 24 March 2015: A blog post to confirm that the 2012 Actros will soon be joining ETS2.
- 14 May 2015: The 2012 Actros is released as a part of the open beta stage of the 1.18 update.
- 25 May 2015: Update 1.18 is released.
Since the release of the truck, new contents have been added into it in the game updates.
- 4 September 2019: Update 1.35 and the release of the Actros Tuning Pack adds more tuning parts into the Actros MP4. A blog post on the 4th September 2019 announced this addition.
- 18 December 2023: In a Christmas Livestream, SCS' Vehicle team reveals the images of the new interiors of the 2020 Actros (called the MP5), as well as the fully reworked interiors of its MP4 model.
