El Centro is a town in southern California near the border to Mexico. It is featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator. The next cities to El Centro are San Diego in the West and Yuma in the East.

Landmarks[]

The only landmark in El Centro is the Central Drain.

Features[]

There are only two companies in El Centro, a Sunshine Crops farm and a Gallon Oil gas station with a rest area.

Connections[]

El Centro is located at the intersection of the IS8 and the CA111. I-8 runs to San Diego to the west and Yuma and Phoenix, Arizona to the east. SR 111 runs to the IS10 in Indio to the north.

History[]

In update 1.38, the diamond interchange of Interstate 8 and SR 111 was rebuilt, and SR 111 was made four lanes wide through the whole city. The truck stop was rebuilt and moved, a rest area was added, and the city received a texture overhaul and various minor improvements.
