Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Going East! is a map expansion DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is the first map of DLC involving map expansions. It was released on September 19, 2013 on Steam and September 20, 2013 as a physical copy.
The DLC adds new cities and roads across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary.

- 31 January 2013: A so-called "Eastern European Expansion" is revealed.[2]
- 28-29 May 2013: Two blog posts show images from the DLC.[3][4]
- 5 June 2013: Images showing the Iveco Stralis Hi-Way in a Slovak city.[5]
- 21 June 2013: Images of Hungary are shown.[6]
- 1 August 2013: SCS announced the DLC's name.[7]
- 12 August 2013: Playtesting of DLC starts.[8]
- 27 August 2013: Blog post about GamesCom 2013 and the GamesCom loop of the DLC are shown.[9]
- 30 August 2013: SCS announced the release date of the expansion.[10]
- 5 September 2013: Going East! DLC is completed.[11]
- 17 September 2013: Blog post about add-on videos of the DLC + trailer.[12]
- 19 September 2013: Blog post about SCS having a problem with the update 1.5.2.[13]
- 20 September 2013: Going East! DLC is released.[14]
- 2 July 2015: Blog post about Going East! Hungary expansion in the update 1.19.[15]
- 14 July 2015: Update 1.19 Open Beta started.[16]
- 23 July 2015: Update 1.19 is released.[17]

The Going East! DLC brings 15 new cities to Euro Truck Simulator 2. Two of them (Pécs and Szeged) were added in the 1.19 update. The capitals of the countries are marked in bold.
