Duisburg is the northernmost of the triplet in-game cities in northwestern Germany, the other two being Düsseldorf and Köln. Possibly due to this, only two companies have depots in Duisburg, namely LKW and NBFC.
Basic trucker facilities including a garage, a hotel and a service shop are present in Duisburg. A small gas station is also within city limits.
As of update 1.50, it features a Renault Trucks large dealership, which replaces the small one in Düsseldorf.

A link road running northeast from Duisburg also terminates on the road towards Osnabrück. Further along the way, another minor road branches west and runs across three national borders (Germany – Netherlands – Belgium – France) before ending near Calais.
