Duisburg has been reworked in the 1.32 update and will be fully reworked in the 1.50 update when it fully releases to the public.

Landmarks[]

The only known landmarks of Duisburg are its port, the Duisburg TV tower, the Salvator church and the Stadtwerketurm.

Features[]

Before Update 1.50[]

Duisburg is the northernmost of the triplet in-game cities in northwestern Germany, the other two being Düsseldorf and Köln. Possibly due to this, only two companies have depots in Duisburg, namely LKW and NBFC.

Basic trucker facilities including a garage, a hotel and a service shop are present in Duisburg. A small gas station is also within city limits.

As of update 1.50, it features a Renault Trucks large dealership, which replaces the small one in Düsseldorf.

After Update 1.50[]

Connections[]

Before Update 1.50[]

All accesses to Duisburg are minor or unnumbered roads.

The main road through Duisburg exits the city to the southeast and heads for the A45 near Dortmund. Two minor roads branch from it: One runs south to Düsseldorf and Köln, while the other goes northeast towards the A1 near Osnabrück.

A link road running northeast from Duisburg also terminates on the road towards Osnabrück. Further along the way, another minor road branches west and runs across three national borders (Germany – NetherlandsBelgiumFrance) before ending near Calais.

After Update 1.50[]
