German Truck Simulator    Euro Truck Simulator 2
Note: This page contains only information about Dortmund in Euro Truck Simulator 2!

Dortmund is a city in western Germany, featured in German Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is one of the four Rhine-Ruhr region cities featured in the games[1], but is different from the other three as it's to the east of the area's main Bundesautobahn, the A45.

Dortmund has been reworked in the update 1.32.

Landmarks

Several landmark buildings in Dortmund are rendered in-game, including the Florianturm, the Harenberg City-Center, the IWO-Hochhaus, the RWE Tower, the Sparkassen-Hochhaus, the U-Tower, the St. Peter's Church and the St. Reinold's Church.

Features

There are two companies having depots in Dortmund: Kaarfor, Transinet. A TREE-ET mill is to the north of the city, while further east there's a Stein Bruch quarry.

Most facilities in-game are present in Dortmund, including a garage, a hotel, a recruitment agency, a service shop, and a small MAN truck dealer. There's also a gas station on the minor road to the north of the city.

Connections

  • The A45 serves as the main connection of Dortmund, as well as the other three cities in the area. In fact, the Bundesautobahn goes through a succession of junctions in the area.
  • The A2 branches off the A45 just to the north of Dortmund, and runs east towards Hannover, Magdeburg and Berlin.
  • A minor road runs east of Dortmund towards Kassel.
