Cruising Texas was an event held by SCS Software through the World of Trucks platform, featuring American Truck Simulator. It was been started on the 15th November, 2022 and was been ended on the 15th January, 2023, alongside the Christmas Reflections Event 2022, another World of Trucks event featuring both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. It was the sixth WoT event to directly coincide a DLC release, involving American Truck Simulator: Texas.

Rules[]

Take deliveries through external contracts / external market (if you used your own trailer) to / from at least 15 out of 29 cities in the Texas DLC. All the jobs for the event needs to be at least 100 miles (161 km) or more in order to count.

Mission Objective[]

  • Personal goal: Complete a delevery to or from at least 15 out of 29 unique cities in Texas.
  • Community goal: Drive 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) while delivering cargoes to or from any city in the Texas DLC.

Rewards[]

  • Personal reward: When it's completed, the players will be eligible to redeem their progress with a personal World of Trucks Achievement and a Horned Lizard Steam inventory paint job for their truck.
  • Community goal: When the community goal is completed, all the players who had their personal goals completed will also be eligible to redeem their progress with a hanging Lone Star Longhorn ornament Steam inventory item for the cabin of their truck.

  • 29 November 2022: Cruising Texas' community goal completed and community reward unlocked.
  • 15 January 2023: Conclusion of the event.
  • 17 January 2023: A blog post to announce the conclusion of the event.
