Cruising Kansas was an event which was held through the World of Trucks platform, featuring American Truck Simulator. The event was started on the 30th November, 2023 and ended on the 5th February, 2024, alongside Christmas Winterland. It was the ninth WoT event to directly coincide a DLC release, involving American Truck Simulator - Kansas.
Initially, the event was planned to be ended on the 28th January, 2024, but on the 12th January 2024, SCS announced an extension of this event and Christmas Winterland event and announced the event's new deadline, the 5th February, 2024.[1]
Prerequisites[]
- A copy of American Truck Simulator with Kansas DLC enabled
- A World of Trucks-connected profile.
Rules[]
Take deliveries through external contracts / external market (if you used your own trailer) to / from any cities in Kansas DLC. All the jobs for the event needs to be at least 100 miles (161 km) or more, in order to count.
Mission objectives[]
- Personal goal: Complete a delivery to or from all 14 unique cities in Kansas
- Community goal: Drive 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) while delivering cargoes to or from any city in Kansas DLC.
Rewards[]
- Personal reward: When it's completed, the players will be eligible to redeem their progress with a personal World of Trucks Achievement and a Sunflower Steam inventory paint job for their truck.
- Community reward: When the community goal is completed, all the players who had their personal goals completed will also be eligible to redeem their progress with a hanging Amber Sunflower Steam inventory item for the cabin of their truck.
