From there, I-10-G follows US 285 as a concurrency for 8 miles (13 km) through the city center until US 285 turns to the south. At the intersection with its southern terminus of its concurrency with US 285, the southern terminus of US 385 begins there and follows the rest of I-10-G until reaching its eastern terminus with I-10 and US 67 at exit 261.
