Note: This page contains all the informations about Bordeaux in Euro Truck Simulator 2. |
Bordeaux is a city in south-western France. Euro Truck Simulator 2 initially only featured the north-eastern part of France, and Bordeaux, being in the west, was left out. The Vive la France! DLC featuring the rest of France, re-introduces the city.
Landmarks[]
Bordeaux features a lot of landmarks. The most visible one is the Garonne river, which is crossed by the A630. In southern direction from this bridge, truckers can see the downtown area of Bordeaux and the Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas, while they recognize the port area in northern direction. The port area which is called Bassens is an accessible part of the city. On the eastern shore of the river, there is the Château de Lormont directly next to the highway.
To the west of the city, one can drive through the village Le Temple of which the church is very realistically illustrated by SCS.
Features[]
There are three main parts of the city featured in the game: Bordeaux-Centre and -Nord are mainly industrial areas, while the third part, Bassens, is a port area.
Bordeaux-Centre features a Bâtisse construction area, a IKA Bohag store, a gas station and a recruitment agency.
The other larger part of the city, Bordeaux-Nord, includes a BHV and Globeur depots, a hotel, a garage and a large DAF truck dealer with a service shop.
In Bassens, the port area, there is only a Huilant depot.
In addition, one can find a Dans le Jardin farm, a MVM Carrière quarry, a Lisette Logistics depot and two gas stations along the minor road, which runs around the city in the west. The Lisette Logistics depot is situated in an area, which is signed as "CESTAS Jarry" in the game.
Connections[]
Four inter-city Autoroutes meet near Bordeaux:
- The connects Bordeaux to Paris, the French capital. Truckers should also follow this road towards other western French cities, e.g. Nantes.
