The city is split up in three parts of which only few are directly connected among themselves:

• The northern part features a Plugged warehouse, a Taylor construction site and a Wallbert market.
• The southwestern part features a Heartwood Furniture depot, a NAMIQ cement plant, a garage, a viewpoint and a Volvo truck dealer with a Rest Stop and service shop.
• The southeastern part features an Alis Cars dealership, an Equos Power, Taylor and Wallbert warehouses, a Gas Station, two rest stops, and a service shop.

In addition, a Mon Coeur vineyard is located west of the city.

Connections

• The IS35 runs south to San Antonio and north to Belton and Waco.
• The US290 runs west towards Fredericksburg and Junction (the latter city via the IS10).
• The TX71 runs east towards La Grange and Houston (the latter city via the IS10 and US90).
