For other European roads numbered A22, see A22 (disambiguation).

The A22 is a highway in Italy which serves the connection between A1 near Bologna and the Austrian border. The highway is also known as Autostrada del Brennero.

The northern part (Austrian border to A4) is featured in the base game of Euro Truck Simulator 2, the southern part (A4 to A1) is featured in the Italia DLC.

The Autostrada was first introduced in Euro Truck Simulator, as part of the link between Rome and Munich. Although Rome was omitted in Euro Truck Simulator 2, Verona and Innsbruck, the two main cities at either end of the Brenner Pass, are introduced.

In addition, the A22 is tolled (as in real-life) in Euro Truck Simulator 2. The toll fare from the Austrian border to the first exit north of Verona is €29.
