Incidents[]
In 2018, a section of the Ponte Morandi, which appears in Euro Truck Simulator 2 in the east of Genoa, collapsed during a rainstorm, killing 43 people.
On 28 May 2020, SCS Software announced a World of Trucks event to coincide with the recently completed replacement, designed by Genoese architect Renzo Piano.[1] It is expected that Piano’s bridge will replace Ponte Morandi in a future update.
