While the highway in real-life forms the primary connection between Klagenfurt am Wörthersee and Salzburg, only a small section near Klagenfurt is featured in the game, possibly because the area near Salzburg is part of the original ETS 2 map, while Klagenfurt was only featured later. As a result, truckers have to drive on a mountainous road to travel between Klagenfurt and Salzburg (or Innsbruck).
Nevertheless, there're hints indicating that SCS software might have rendered other parts of the road. If a trucker follows the minor road towards Salzburg, a highway overpass will appear at two locations:
- The southern overpass is very close to the accessible section, and is highlighted on the map included in this article.
- Another overpass can be seen near a town just to the southwest of Salzburg.
