The Autovía 
is a highway in Spain running between Madrid and Burgos. It is featured in the Iberia map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Course[]
In the game, starts north of Madrid as an interchange with 
, the main ring road in the city. soon leaves the capital of Spain an keeps a northbound direction. After leaving the industrial area near Cobeña and Algete, the highway soon enters the Sierra de Guadarrama. reaches its highest point at the Somosierra Pass, and bypasses the village of the same name through the Juan Manuel Morón García Tunnel.
After leaving the tunnel, descends into the Northern Meseta Central, traversing a much flatter terrain. Near Burgos, the highway bypasses the village of Sarracín before joining 
with a TOTSO interchange. Then, the road surrounds Burgos through its south side and meets 
with an another TOTSO interchange. If the driver turns north, continues for a short distance before reaching exit 246, where the player is finally obliged to exit the highway.

- In real life, A-1 is one of the highest highways in Europe, reaching an elevation of 1440 m at Somosierra Pass, near the village of the same name. Somosierra and Juan Manuel Morón García tunnel are featured in the game.
