I recently bought ATS on Steam and have never been able to open it. It says, "The game filesystem failed to initialize, aborting now."

I have looked all over the internet for a solution, but nothing I have tried has ever worked. I have done just about everything involving Windows Defender, uninstalled and reinstalled the game probably 10 times at this point, my drives do not have any updates, I have tried downloading the game to different drives, and have verified the integrity of the game files on Steam. Nothing seems to be working. This is the only game on Steam I am having this issue with.

I have no clue about anything else I can do. Any ideas?

Hi everyone! Vec here. I'm sure most of you are aware about some of the community's decision to leave Fandom. While we are sad to see wikis leave the platform, we always respect their wishes to leave and contribute elsewhere.

A few things: Per our forking policy, this wiki and all its information will remain here. While information can be copied over to the other wiki, nothing here can be destroyed. This wiki also can't be used to advertise the other wiki beyond the discussion post and a temporary notice on the main page linking to said discussion. For forks, these two wikis are now like two streams diverging from a river, heading in their own directions.

Forks are unfortunately a disruptive process, but do know that this version of the wiki will continue to remain here. I'll be around to help out if needed for any editors who wish to stay. Tech has already agreed to step down as admin, though I am unsure about Patrick. However, my gut feeling is that this community will be eligible for adoption if dedicated editors wish to.

I have a question, what's happened with SCS Blog news in Truck Simulator Wiki? Is this a glitch? Or what?

I become at third place of Top Contributions this Week. I like editing and creating pages in this wiki :)

On the Interstate 10 page here it mentions that Benson is not included in game, though if you look at google maps it clearly shows the I-10/AZ 90 junction area featured in ATS as a part of Benson city limits. I feel like it should be included as a scenery town.

I'd like to see the map on the ATS page kept updated, and I'd be glad to help do so if the person who usually does it can't. How is this map made?

I have observed how, on pages dedicated to roads here on the Truck Simulator Wiki, the "Cities" list marks only the proper cities the road runs through, those recognized in that World of Trucks game. Scenery towns are often excluded. But should scenery towns and scenery cities really be kept off of the list? On some short, minor state highways, I am sure, the scenery towns are the only locations on the road. Should scenery towns be included on these lists? If not, should separate lists on the highway pages be created dedicated to them?
