The demo only includes the very first version of California while the full game comes generally with the free dlcs installed

Demo is the beta version of ATS it is everything in the first build before you buy the game. After you play the demo you have to pay for it and upgrade your game to get a game key for the full version. I don't play demos they are buggy I always get the current build of the game.
